La Fresque Hotel Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires

The hotel has a beautiful historical charm and is conveniently located near the obelisk and other major landmarks. My room was clean, but the layout with stairs might not suit everyone. The staff was kind and helpful, particularly when I needed assistance. However, I did experience some noise from the streets and a leak during a storm, which detracted from my overall comfort.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in July. While there were a few downsides like street noise and a leaky roof during a storm, the staff was incredibly helpful, especially Andres and Leandro. The hotel is very old and has a unique charm, with a museum in the basement that's worth checking out. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for its friendly service and interesting history.

While the room I stayed in was spacious and clean, I found the unique two-level layout somewhat inconvenient, especially with the toilet located a level down. The breakfast was decent but not always well-stocked. The reception staff were friendly but had limited English skills, which sometimes made communication tricky.

La Fresque is a charming hotel with a beautiful old-world feel, situated right in the heart of Buenos Aires. The spacious rooms and tasty breakfast were definite highlights. However, the noise levels from the lift and neighboring rooms made it hard to get a good night's sleep. If it weren't for the noise, it would be an ideal place to stay.
